"During my lifetime I have been given the opportunity to work with children and youth in a day camp as counselor, in Boy Scouts, among migrant farm workers, on city streets, as a Big Brother, as an elementary school reader and mentor, in churches and at summer camps. Here, near the end of my earthly journey, I have been given one more opportunity to share as a Guardian ad Litem. I am thankful because…I am trying to build a bridge…for him…or her."
